CAN WE EXPECT A CEASEFIRE VERY SOON? United States Seems Confident For Israel Hamas Peace Deal
Antony Blinken Shaking Hands With PM Netanyahu
The Pressing Question: How Close Are We Really To A Ceasefire?
It’s that time of year again when Israel and Hamas are trying to come up with a peace plan and a ceasefire deal. The situation is confusing, with mixed messages from different officials. U.S. President Biden says, “We are closer than ever” and seems very optimistic. I think Secretary of State Antony Blinken wouldn’t have gone to the Middle East if he didn’t believe there was a good chance of reaching a deal.
On the other hand, Israel has said there is “cautious optimism” and has put a lot of the responsibility on the United States. The Israeli Prime Minister’s office said they hope America’s pressure on Hamas could help make a deal happen.
Hamas, on the other hand, has been very unclear about their position. They have always said they are okay with peace if Israel completely leaves Gaza and exchanges prisoners. Also, many of you might be wondering about Iran’s stance. Iran has stated that if a deal doesn’t happen, there will be retaliation, but it’s still unknown what kind of retaliation that will be.
In conclusion, based on the data I’ve seen and the ongoing acts of aggression in the Middle East, I don’t think there will be a ceasefire agreement in Egypt. However, if I’m wrong and a deal does happen, that would be great. I would be happy if it means everyone steps back and things calm down.

🔝 FUN FACT
Ukrainian Inflatable Decoy Tanks
A little-known fact is that Ukraine is using balloon decoys, similar to the fake armies used by the U.S. military in World War II. It’s hard to tell how effective these decoys are, but there are reports that they have worked occasionally.
