The Pressing Question: Does Iran Even Want To Retaliate Anymore?

Iran has kept the Middle East in suspense, with many expecting some kind of retaliation soon. But now, we're hearing a different message. The new message is that, yes, retaliation will happen, but not right away. An official spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, Ali Mohammad Naeini, said, "Time is on our side, and the wait for our response might take longer," according to state media.

If you ask me, this might be Iran’s way of keeping everyone guessing, or it could be because the United States has two aircraft carriers in the area. There’s a huge amount of anti-air support, and we don’t even know how many submarines are there. Basically, what I’m saying is that Iran might have realized this isn't a fight they want to get into.

The key thing no one seems to be talking about is that Russia is also dealing with an invasion and can't fully control their situation. Russia buys a lot of cheap drones from Iran. If Iran goes to war, they won’t be able to supply those drones because they’ll need the equipment for their own battles. I’ve always believed that out of respect for their ally, Iran is trying to avoid a war to help Russia

Home Footage Of Marinovka Airfield Being Hit By Drone

  • Ukraine has shifted the war by bringing the fight to Russian territory, launching 11 drones toward Moscow. Although that strike was stopped, Ukraine did hit targets at the Marinovka military airfield in the southern Russian region of Volgograd. But just because Ukraine is making moves inside Russia doesn’t mean Russia has lost the war. In fact, this likely means we can expect more strikes from Russian forces on Ukrainian territory.

Iraqi Protest In Support Of Iran

It might be hard to believe, but Iranian-backed militias actually negotiated peace with the Iraqi government to give them time to remove U.S. troops from the country. The United States has about 1,200 advisors there to help secure the nation against ISIS. However, these Iranian militias want the U.S. out so they can form new partnerships in the region. Iraq has allowed the U.S. to stay, and now we’re already seeing reports of clashes between militia groups and Iraqi military forces.

In 2023, U.S. forces in Iraq were attacked nearly 70 days in a row by these groups before the U.S. finally decided to strike back. I expect U.S. forces to remain a primary target for these militia groups, especially since last year proved that these militias have the capability to carry out such sustained attacks.
